What is the return policy?
3 days until 2 weeks before semester ends. Exception: At the beginning of the semester the policy is 10 calendar days from the 1st day of class, if the book is in the same condition as purchased accompanied by cash register receipt
What are the bookstore hours?
Normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. At the beginning of each semester we have extended hours.
Does the bookstore buy back all books?
No, we buy books that are used the following semester if not overstocked on them. The PCC Bookstore does not buyback workbooks or lab manuals.
When is book buyback?
During exams at the end of the semester and the first 2 days of class at the beginning of semester.
How about charges for students on some form of Financial Aid?
Able to charge for 1 week at the beginning of term. Books that are not in, needs to charged during this period and picked up when books arrive. Pell and scholarship students may purchase any items that we have for sale in bookstore as funds are available. 3rd party agencies VA/VR, NAFTA, TAA, WAI, etc. are limited on supplies they can purchase and only books required for their classes.
Do I need to present my Student ID every time I purchase a book from the bookstore?
No, only if paying by check or credit card. At the beginning of term if financial aid student, we do need to see ID with every purchase.
Can I use my Credit Card (VISA & MasterCard) to pay for my books and supplies?
Yes, but we only take VISA or MasterCard.
How do distance learning students get books without coming to campus?
Mail books to distance learning students, cost is $13.45 for first book and $1.00 for each additional books. Payment made by VISA or MasterCard. Call Bookstore at 252-493-7252 and any friendly staff member can assist them.
