Background Information
Your course textbook is usually the best place to start when looking for background information. If you need to find background information on a particular topic within the broad area of health law and ethics ask a librarian to help you by suggesting a few resources.

Keywords and Search Examples
One key component of doing research is identifying possible keywords and phrases to search with. An important part of reading background information on a topic is to identify and write down keywords or phrases. Do not get stuck on using just one word or phrase. The following terms and phrases are listed to help you get started. There may be other more relevant terms that you can use depending on your specific research topic.
