Library instruction is the process of teaching people how to use the library and its resources to find information and to build information literacy.

...instruction for using library online databases, the PCC library catalog, the Internet, and various other types of resources.
...walking tours and general library orientation.
...individual instruction sessions by appointment.
...the use of its instruction classroom to instructors. PCC library's instruction classroom is located on the 2nd floor of the library (Room 228). This room is primarily used for hands-on instruction in the use of library databases and resources. PCC instructors may reserve the room when library instruction sessions are not scheduled. Librarian led instruction sessions take priority over non-library related sessions.
