These are workshops designed for PCC's Pre-Health Sciences Students to empower them for personal, academic, and professional success, but are open to ALL students, faculty and staff!

Tuesday, 2/19/13 - Setting up your SEP for now and beyond!
Learning how to set up your Student Educational Plan (SEP) can help you take charge of your academic plan. Come ready to learn and work. Please have your laptop or IPad (or similar technology) with you, so you can build it as we discuss it in the workshop!!!!

Tuesday, 3/12/13 - Health Science Admissions & Registration
We invite you to learn about the health science admission process. We will also go over tips for registering online and how to use MyPittCC (PCC Services) tools to enhance your academics.

Tuesday, 3/26/13 - Stress & Time Management
Learning how to manage one’s time and dealing with stress is a part of every college student’s life, but it seems to be increased in the life of a healthcare student. Learn techniques to better deal with your time and stress.

Tuesday, 4/9/13 - “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of Social Media”
Facebook is one of the many social media outlets that is currently online. With over 850,000,000 users, Facebook is one of the largest social media sites. This workshop will focus on the reality of social media and how it can positively and negatively impact your life.
