Degree Information

Students who complete all of the program requirements will earn an AAS degree (Associate in Applied Science). This will require approximately five semesters of full-time study. Additional time may be needed for students attending part-time or those who need additional time to achieve minimum requirements in English, math or science.

When to Apply

Applications are accepted at anytime during the year.  Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to allow them time to complete the application process and take the Placement Tests before Priority Registration which begins approximately eight weeks before the start of the next semester.  This allows students the best selections of courses and times.

Additional Expenses

General student fees are charged each semester.  They include parking. These rates are subject to change without notice. Textbooks for each class may cost several hundred dollars each. Some courses have additional laboratory fees. Students will also have additional expenses involved in travel between the Biotechnology Center and the main campus.
