BIO 110 Principles of Biology will be offered in the Fall of 2005 (instructor TBA)BIO 140 Environmental Biology (instructor TBA)
ON-LINE REQUIREMENTS: Students must have a reliable Internet service provider and be able to use email and the Internet to transfer files and information reliably.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Course requirements will vary by course but students should be prepared to carry out the following types of assignments.
- Participate in a course bulletin board discussion
- Submit written answers to the end of chapter questions
- Take a midterm and/or a final exam on the PCC campus or in another controlled testing environment (students must pass the midterm (if given) and the final exam to pass the course)
- Complete other evaluations to demonstrate comprehension and understanding of the course materials
- Complete weekly laboratory assignments
EVALUATION: A ten-point scale will be used.
ATTENDANCE: - Students must submit weekly assignments. Students who fail to submit two weekly assignments will be considered to have unofficially withdrawn from the class unless they have been in contact with the instructor by phone or email.
ENROLLMENT: Enrollment in these courses is open to all currently enrolled Pitt Community College students. Others interested in enrolling in this course should complete a PCC application which is available online at On-line PCC Application or visit the PCC Homepage
