Mission Statement
The University Transfer and Foreign Languages Department is committed to the maximum development of the innate potential of the student in a variety of University Transfer and Foreign Languages programs that this department supports and advises. The activities of the department are directed toward providing students with opportunities to obtain skills, abilities, and knowledge necessary to transfer to a baccalaureate institution and pursue instruction in a variety of program areas.
The goal of the University Transfer and Foreign Languages Department is to provide students opportunities to enhance their employment skills, occupational advancement, discover new and emerging technologies, pursuit of fundamental knowledge, commitment to lifelong learning, and preparation of the college's students for academic and social life within four-year institutions.
In pursuit of these ends, the University Transfer and Foreign Languages Department seeks to provide relevant and quality instruction, caring and knowledgeable advice, a variety of personal and academic support services, and a continued responsiveness to the four-year colleges and universities within the state, region, and nation.
