Health Sciences Orientation
The Health Sciences Orientation consists of ten information modules designed to better prepare individuals for enrollment in a health sciences program. Individuals interested in Associate Degree Nursing, Health Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology Associate Degree, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Polysomnography Associate Degree, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, and Therapeutic Massage are required to successfully complete the orientation quiz with a grade of 80% or higher prior to applying for admission. Individuals who have successfully completed the HSC 110-Orientation to Health Careers course with a C or better are exempt from this requirement. Please know that points for admission into a health sciences program will only be awarded to students who have successfully completed the HSC 110 course and will not be given to students who complete the quiz to satisfy the orientation requirement. All information modules should be reviewed before attempting the orientation quiz.
