Criminal Justice Technology is designed to provide knowledge of criminal justice systems and operations. Study will focus on local, state, and federal law enforcement, judicial processes, corrections, and security services. The criminal justice system's role within society will be explored.
Career Opportunities
Employment opportunities exist in a variety of local, state, and federal law enforcement, corrections, and security fields. Examples include police officer, deputy sheriff, county detention officer, state trooper, correctional officer, and loss prevention specialist.
Admission Procedures/Requirements
Students must be high school graduates. All students must complete a PCC Application for Admission and take the PCC Placement Tests. Transcripts of all high school and completed college work must be submitted to the college. Students may be required to complete developmental courses based on their placement test scores.
