PCC Priority Admissions Day

Thank you for your interest in Pitt Community College!  As a student who has worked hard and proven to be college-ready, you are invited to participate in Pitt Community College Priority Admissions Day, being held on Monday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Goess Multipurpose Room.

During this event, you will receive the tools needed to be successful during your time as a new student at Pitt Community College, including information about making the transition from high school to college, support services in place to help you succeed, and important details regarding academic advisement.  Because PCC is your top choice for college attendance and to give you preference in your course selection, you will have the ability to register for your Fall 2017 courses before the rest of your classmates!

In order to participate in this special event, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. You must be admitted to Pitt Community College with the intention to enroll as a full-time student in the Fall 2017 term.

  2. You must be a Pitt county high school senior.

  3. You must have a high school transcript on file with the PCC Admissions office, showing a cumulative 2.6 unweighted GPA and proof of completion in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and an approved college-prep math requiring Algebra II as a prerequisite. (Please contact orientation@my.pittcc.edu with questions) ~OR~

  4. You must have an ACT or SAT score on file meeting the requirement to be waived from completing a placement exam. Specific test score waiver information can be found here. ~OR~

  5. You must have official PCC Placement Testing scores on file showing enrollment in developmental English and Math courses is NOT required.
