A Camden County High School product, Whitehurst was the first to sign, inking a letter-of-intent with PCC on April 10. The 5-9 middle hitter has a relentless work ethic and says she will bring “energy and spirit” to the court next season.

“My goal is to make an impact in any positive way I can,” she said.

Way said Whitehurst, who recorded 334 kills in her final two seasons with the Bruins, is a proven offensive threat with the ability to attack multiple sets and the versatility to play all three attacking positions.
