General Adult Education
What is General
Adult Education? No, it’s not your
GED program, that’s another service
area. General Adult Education
encompasses a wide variety of
subjects. They range from fire
science classes, to classes for EMS
personnel, to recreational classes
like Jewelry Design for Work or
Play, Creative Writing and
Watercolor Painting, to occupational
type classes such as Electrical
License Renewal, Aviation Ground
School for Pilots, to NC Building
Codes. This area also includes the
Driver Improvement Course, Auto
Inspection classes and even some
foreign language opportunities. So,
you see that there are many areas
that General Adult Education reaches
into. If you are interested in any
of the above mentioned areas, or
