Small Business Center
The Small Business Center is designed to meet the training needs of the area’s small business owners, managers, and other personnel, as well as entrepreneurs planning to start a small business.Training sessions are offered as free seminars, short-term professional career training, and customized individual business training events. Additionally, we offer many online business courses through Ed2Go, our online vendor.
The Small Business Center also offers confidential business counseling at no charge, and has a Business Resource Center open to the public, with publications, audiotapes, computer software, and videos to help with small business research and problem solving.
As a part of the Division of Continuing Education and Community Development of Pitt Community College, we are proud to contribute to the continuing education efforts of over 30,000 citizens per year in Pitt County.
At the state level, we are part of the North Carolina Small Business Center Network, which maintains a Small Business Center at each of the 58 NC Community Colleges.
