Blackboard
Invalid File Type Error
When trying to submit an assignment while using the submit assignment feature in content areas (does not affect digital dropbox) you receive an Invalid File Type Error.
Using anything other than Internet Explorer (version 8 or 7), Firefox version 3.0 and Opera 10 you will receive this error.
At this time Safari and Firefox 3.5 work on Mac OS. This seems to be a Windows issue ONLY*.
*Linux has not been tested as of yet.

Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Clock covering submit button when taking a timed quiz
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) was made a High Priority update to the Windows XP and Vista operating systems.
There is a known issue with IE8 and Blackboard (Bb) when a student is taking a Timed Quiz. In normal IE8 mode, the Submit button is covered by the Elapsed Time Clock which blocks the submit button. This will not allow the student to submit their quiz.
