Nestled in the Coastal Plains region of Eastern North Carolina lays the pleasing campus of Pitt Community College, where the accumulation of students, staff, and faculty strive to ensure a sustainable campus through current and future planned practices.
At Pitt Community College, decades of elevated pines, an assortment of vibrant colored azaleas, and the glistening of the west campus lake surround the classroom experience. Sustainability is a campus wide initiative that can be seen throughout the grounds and in the classroom. Pitt Community College currently utilizes sustainable concepts such as waste reduction, energy utilization observation, and landscaping techniques.
