Every year since 2001, PCC has held a program to celebrate the achievements of women. The event is held each March in conjunction with the nation's observance of Women's History Month.
As part of the college's celebration of women's history, the school recognizes a female employee with the "Woman of Substance Award" for outstanding campus and community involvement, attitude of service, commitment and caring, and willingness to 'go the extra mile.' The national theme for the 2013 Women's History Month celebration is "Women Inspiring Innovation through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics."
Our guests will be a distinguished panel of women, who will share their stories of success.
Following the presentation, PCC will announce the winner of the 2013 Woman of Substance award.
