We serve children birth - 5 years old and are the laboratory for the Early Childhood Department.
Our Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm
Tuition Rates: Effective October 1, 2009
Infants - $176.50 per week
One-year-old class - $171.50 per week
Two-year-old class - $160.00 per week
Three to five-year-old class - $153.00 per week
Mission Statement:
Pitt Community College Preschool is a laboratory school for the Early Childhood Department and has a priority to serve the children of the students, staff and faculty of Pitt Community College and be a Model Early Childhood Program for Eastern Carolina.
Goals:
The Pitt Community College Preschool Laboratory goals are to provide:
- direct work experience for Early Childhood Students in a developmentally appropriate environment for young children;
- enrollment priority to children of Pitt Community College students, faculty and staff;
- a model of partnership with parents;
- leadership as a model 5-Star licensed child care facility, offering technical assistance to the local child care community and developing the job market for our graduates;
- a working environment for a professional staff which exemplifies quality principles of teamwork, effective communication, continuous improvement and commitment to the mission.
