PCC Preschool Laboratory is open to the public, but placement priority is given to PCC students, staff and faculty.

PCC Child Care Grant money is available for qualifying Financial Aid recipients to assist with child care expenses. Applications and guidelines for this grant money are available through the Financial Aid office and on-line.
Persons interested in applying for day care assistance through the Pitt County Department of Social Services should contact the Day Care Social Worker, Kathy Parker, at (252) 413-1212 for an appointment.
A waiting list is maintained at the Preschool and openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to children currently enrolled, and PCC students, staff and faculty.
The PCC Preschool Laboratory serves children with various developmental needs. The Center strives to meet the needs of children with moderate disabilities by mainstreaming these children into the activities of the regularly planned program with consultative support from Early Intervention, DEC, and/or Pitt County Schools.
