Awards and Recognitions

Our Preschool Laboratory has been recognized:

in 1997 being awarded the Early Childhood Professional Development Award
by being chosen to participate in "the Study of Best Practices in Early Care and Education" through Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center, a research center for the US Department of Education, called the National Center for Early Development and Learning.
in 1998 and 1999 being awarded grants of $166,666.66 by Department of Community Colleges to establish a model Early Childhood Education program.
