Fall 2008 Parent Newsletter:
Welcome to Pitt Community College Preschool Laboratory!! We have started off the school year with returning students as well as a lot of new students! The excitement that each child brings to our program is a true gift!
Pitt Community College Preschool Laboratory has gone through some transitions from one building to another to prepare for our newest building. We are delighted to announce that our 2 and 3 year olds are now settled into their new building, T-21. I want to personally thank each parent for your understanding and patience during this time.
For those of you who may be new to our program, I want to share with you the names of each staff member and the ages they teach:
Mrs. Annie Hall----infants,
Mrs. Daphene Joyner----infants,
Mrs. Pam Reason----infants,
Ms. Lakisha Elbert----toddlers,
Ms. Deena Turner----toddlers,
Mrs. Mary Jane LaNeave----2 year olds,
Ms. Sarah Crawford----2/3 year olds,
Mrs. Deborah Cannon----3 year olds, and
Mrs. Helen Aycock----4/5 year olds.
Our staff is truly committed to the teaching, caring, and loving of your child(ren). We are so fortunate to have such a highly qualified staff here in our program.
There are a few dates I would like to share with you that you may want to put on your calendars:
October 25, 2008--Pitt Community College Open House, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Preschool will be open to quests.
October 28-30, 2008--Preschool Book Fair, located in Everett 141, hours are 12:00 PM through 6:00 PM.
November 10, 2008--Picture Day.
It is a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful program! If I can be of any help to you in any way, my door is always open! Thank you for entrusting your precious child(ren) to us. It is our goal to provide a high quality program that is safe, full of fun, and full of adventures in your child’s learning experience.
