Endowment Accounts
The Pitt Community College Foundation can receive contributions and establish an endowed scholarship account. The PCC Foundation staff will acknowledge all contributions received and apply them to the endowed account. The principle of the endowed account will remain intact and only the interest will be used for awarding scholarships.
Donors may designate recommended uses for endowment accounts and they may also assist in the establishment of the criteria for selection of the scholarship recipients. Donors may participate as members of the scholarship selection committee or they may authorize the PCC Foundation Executive Director and/or the PCC Financial Aid Director to manage the selection of scholarship recipients.
