Community Resources

While Pitt Community College would like to be able to meet all the needs of our students, there are many situations where outside resources are needed.  There are many community service providers and organizations in Pitt County designed to serve people during times of need.  Pitt Resources Connection (PRC) was created in an effort to help our community during times of need, to rise above the hardships and make our community stronger.  We encourage you to take a look at this web site for more information.  The PRC is a program of the Real Crisis Center.

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) staff at Pitt Community College has also compiled a list of Pitt County social service agencies available to meet specific needs such as shelter, mental health, veteran services, and child support assistance for your convenience and information.  Click here for a listing of agencies.
