Student transcripts are available under the provisions of The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-380). Under this Act, written consent from you is required before we can release your records to anyone. Additional information may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar. Pitt Community College requires a written request 24 hours prior to release of a transcript.
Transcripts are free of charge.
All financial obligations to the College must be cleared before any transcript will be released.
Note: You cannot request transcripts by E-mail! Federal law requires all schools to obtain your written signature prior to releasing transcripts.
