New Users "CampusCruiser" Orientation
Before using the computers on campus:
Read the "Network Acceptable Use Policy". You will find it here.
Before using CampusCruiser:
- NEW
STUDENTS: Regarding the registration option - You
will have a PIN
(Personal Identification Number) for registration, which is
automatically assigned as your birthdate (mmddyy) within 48 hours after
we process your application, which also requires up
to 48 hours; therefore, you should have a PIN within 4 business days of
submitting your application. Other functions in CampusCruiser, however,
are available to you without the PIN, within the 48 hour turnaround
time of submitting your application.
- EMAIL: CampusCruiser is your OFFICIAL email address: PCC will send official correspondence to that address only.
- ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Info for the entire student body will be posted under CampusCruiser
Announcements, not emailed to all students.
Therefore, read the "Announcements" every time you login to Cruiser.
So . . . What do I do and in what order?
A - Read the CampusCruiser tutorial. (Keep reading here for now. . . a link to the tutorial will be at the bottom of this page)THEN AFTER READING THE TUTORIAL . . .
B - Check your email.
AND . . .
C - Read the "Announcements" . . .
When
you lig in to Cruiser, you
will find the announcements in the top, right quickbar (available on
all Cruiser pages) that contains quick access to your personal tools:
You can also get to them in the channel shown in the screenshot below
on the opening desktop (My Cruiser > Dashboard) which
shows the "Announcements" channel with the latest few announcements
links listed in the box. You can also click the title (shown in red) to
get to all current announcements.

AFTER LOGGING IN TO CRUISER . . .
You will see the "PCC Services"
yellow tab at the top (see
screenshot below).

This is where you will be able to see your schedule and other personal registration information.
NOTICE: Grades and schedules will not be mailed. You can see them online under "PCC SERVICES".
NOTE: You will receive information on an ongoing basis at the CampusCruiser site, and from your instructors and other student services regarding CampusCruiser's usage, events, and opportunities.
