Public Service Announcements
Policy and Guidelines for PCC CampusCruiser
Policy
Pitt Community College’s “Canvassing, Peddling, and Soliciting” policy prevents the canvassing, peddling, or soliciting on the electronic and physical property of Pitt Community College except for approved student organizations, the PCC Foundation, and United Way. However, the policy does allow the posting of notices and announcements when approved by the College’s administration.
Pitt Community College is committed to providing organizations with opportunities to promote their community efforts. One way to do that is through Public Service Announcements (PSA). PCC Campus Cruiser is a tool designed to handle communications such as Public Service Announcements for all employees and students.
The College will permit the electronic communication of PSAs through Campus Cruiser only. PSAs are not to be communicated through GroupWise email or posted on PCC departmental web pages.
Pitt Community College retains the right to refuse publication of any public service announcements that do not satisfy the following guidelines and procedures.
