Annual Trunk-or-Treat Event Set for Oct. 30
Halloween Celebration Will Also Serve as Food Drive

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College will celebrate Halloween with its annual Trunk-or-Treat event in the Craig F. Goess Student Center multipurpose room today, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Set-up begins at 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the PCC Spirit Club, event organizers say Trunk-or-Treat is a fun and safe way for area children to enjoy Halloween.
In addition to plenty of goodies for the kids who attend, the event will also serve as a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. An estimated 600 cans of food were collected for the organization during last year's Trunk-or-Treat event.
Originally scheduled to take place in the Goess Student Center parking lot, Trunk-or-Treat has been moved indoors due to the rainy, cold and wet weather the area has been experiencing.
