Spring Priority Registration Begins Nov. 8
WINTERVILLE—Continuing students will have the first opportunity to sign up for courses when Pitt Community College begins priority registration for the 2013 Spring Semester on Nov. 8.
According to Joanne Ceres, PCC Director of Enrollment Management/Registrar, continuing students will register in order of credits passed with those having earned 64 or more credit hours getting the chance to sign up on the first day of priority registration.
“Those students with the most credits completed, those getting ready to graduate will always be able to register first,” Ceres said, adding that new students can begin signing up for spring classes on Nov. 19.
The priority registration period will end Dec. 6. Ceres said students who have registered for spring courses must pay for them by Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. to avoid having their schedules purged.
Walk-in registration for spring semester is scheduled to take place Jan. 3-4, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. It is open to all students, who will have the option of signing up for classes with their advisors or online.
Students who register during walk-in registration must pay for their tuition and fees the day they sign up for classes in order to keep their schedules.
