Early Registration Closes with More Than 7,000 Signed up for Spring 2013 Courses
Payment Due Dec. 14; Walk-In Registration Scheduled for Jan. 3-4
WINTERVILLE—If early registration statistics are an indication, Pitt Community College can expect higher enrollment this spring than in 2012.
According to Joanne Ceres, PCC Director of Enrollment Management/Registrar, Thursday marked the end of the college’s early registration period for the 2013 spring semester. As of Wednesday afternoon, she said, 7,243 students had signed up, which is roughly three percent more than at the same point a year ago.
Ceres said students who signed up for spring courses during early registration have until Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. to pay for them, in order to avoid having their schedules purged.
Those who didn’t participate in early registration can still sign up for spring classes during walk-in registration, which is scheduled to take place Jan. 3-4, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. It is open to all students, who will have the option of signing up for classes with their academic advisors or online.
Students who register during walk-in registration must pay for their tuition and fees the day they sign up for classes in order to keep their schedules.
