Fall Semester Payment Deadline Is July 18
The Pitt Community College Registrar’s Office is reminding students who have signed up for 2013 Fall Semester courses to pay for their classes by 5 p.m. July 18 to avoid having their schedules purged.
Joanne Ceres, PCC Director of Enrollment Management/Registrar, said this month that the college had billed all student accounts at the new tuition rate ($71.50 per credit hour for in-state students, $263.50 for those considered out-of-state) set by the N.C. General Assembly this summer.
Ceres says students can pay for their courses online by logging into their myPittCC accounts and clicking on the “PCC Services” tab. They may also pay in person at the cashier’s office in the Craig F. Goess Student Center on the college’s main campus.
Students who have applied for financial aid must have a finalized award for the 2013 Fall Semester in place by this month’s payment deadline to secure their schedules, Ceres said. She added that those who do not must pay out-of-pocket and wait for reimbursement through financial aid.
Ceres noted that students can check their financial aid award statuses through their myPittCC accounts.
