First-Ever Latino Day Scheduled for Sept. 19
WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College will hold its First Annual Latino Day event on campus this month in an effort to reach out to the area’s Latino population about programs and services.
Organized by the college’s Outreach Coalition, which is comprised of the PCC TRiO: Educational Opportunity Center and various PCC partners, the program will take place in the Craig F. Goess Student Center Sept. 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
In addition to program displays, Pitt employees will be on hand to discuss educational options available at the college.
