WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College administrators have announced that students planning to enroll at the college this fall can continue registering for courses through Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. and again on Aug. 14 during Walk-In Registration.

Joanne Ceres, PCC Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management, says students can register for the fall semester online through their myPittCC accounts or with academic advisors, who will be available to provide personal registration assistance during regular college business hours.

The payment deadline for students registering between now and the registration deadline is Aug. 11 at 5 p.m.

Students can pay for courses online by logging into their myPittCC accounts and clicking on the “PCC Services” tab. They also have the option of paying in person at the cashier’s office in the Craig F. Goess Student Center.

Since a new state budget is still in the works, PCC is billing students at the 2014-15 tuition rate. College administrators note, however, that the rate could increase for 2015-16, if the General Assembly increases it from the current $72 per credit for in-state residents and $264 per credit for out-of-state students.

Fall classes at PCC start Aug. 17.
