PCC Drama Club Will Perform ‘Nunsense’

Performance Also an Opportunity to Support Local Food Bank

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Drama Club will present its very first musical next month, when the group performs Dan Goggin’s “Nunsense” in the Craig F. Goess Student Center multipurpose room.

According to PCC Music and Drama Coordinator Randolph Stephenson, the opening performance of “Nunsense,” is scheduled for Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. Additional performances will take place Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of an admission charge for the performances, Stephenson says the Drama Club will accept donations for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina—either five cans of food or a $5-donation to the Food Bank.

“Let 13 nuns sing and dance their way into your heart as you help feed the hungry,” Stephenson said, adding that PCC students will be admitted to the show at no charge by presenting a valid student ID.
