PCC Offers Electronic Delivery of Transcripts

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Registrar’s Office recently announced that the college now offers electronic delivery of official student transcripts.

PCC Registrar Angela Cline says that when students need to order an official transcript from Pitt, they can now choose to have them sent electronically to any school, organization or person of their choice. She says the service is provided by the National Student Clearinghouse through eTranscripts.

Cline says there are more than 900 schools and organizations in the electronic exchange to from which to choose. For any that are not in the exchange, she said students would need to provide a valid email address for their intended recipient.

“This is an expanded service from our normal mail and pick up requests,” Cline said. “This added service will allow a reduction in processing time from a 24-hour turnaround to an average 15-minute turnaround time. There is no extra cost to the student; our transcript fee remains at $5.”

Access to the electronic delivery service can be found on the official PCC website.
