Summer '16 Walk-In Registration Is May 19

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College will hold walk-in registration this month to give students another opportunity to sign up for summer classes before the semester officially begins May 20.

According to PCC Registrar Angela Cline, walk-in registration will take place May 19, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be open to new and returning students, she said, adding that they may sign up for classes with advisors or via the web.

Cline said students who have already registered for summer classes must pay for them by 5 p.m. on May 10 to prevent their schedules from being purged. She said those who sign up for courses during walk-in registration must pay for tuition and fees that day by 7 p.m. in order to keep their schedules.

All new students (not transfers) starting at PCC this summer must attend a Bulldog Briefing Program on walk-in registration day. The mini orientation sessions will take place each hour in the Craig F. Goess Student Center and cover a variety of topics, including curriculum information, student services and financial aid.
