2016 Fall Registration Now Open June 1-24

PCC will reopen fall registration June 1-24. Classes begin Aug. 18!

WINTERVILLE—Returning Pitt Community College students planning to take classes this fall can sign up for them June 1-24, now that the college has reopened registration.

Joanne Ceres, PCC Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management, said more than 2,840 students have already registered for the 2016 Fall Semester at PCC, which begins Aug. 18.

Ceres said students can register online through their myPittCC accounts or with academic advisors, who will be available to provide personal registration assistance during normal college business hours. She said payment for fall classes is not due until Aug. 4, adding that the earlier students register, the better their choice of classes.

New incoming students for fall must attend a New Student Orientation (NSO) before registering for classes. Ceres said the newcomers can sign up for an NSO session HERE.

PCC Registrar Angela Cline said students can pay for courses online by logging into their myPittCC accounts and clicking on the “PCC Services” tab. She said they may also pay in person at the cashier’s office in the Craig F. Goess Student Center.

Cline said students who have applied for financial aid this fall must have a finalized award in place by the August payment deadline to secure their schedules. She said those who do not must pay out-of-pocket and wait for reimbursement through financial aid, if it is approved, and added that students can check financial aid statuses through their myPittCC accounts.
