Summer and Fall Registration Starts April 3
Returning Students Will Have First Chance to Begin Signing Up for Courses
WINTERVILLE—Registration for summer and fall classes at Pitt Community College starts April 3 for currently-enrolled students and will begin for all students later in the week.
According to Joanne Ceres, PCC Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management, students taking courses at Pitt this spring can begin signing up online for the summer and fall semesters at 8 a.m. Monday, during their assigned priority window. Registration priority is determined by credit hours completed, she said, adding that a breakdown of registration dates and times is available on the “Registration” page of the PCC website, along with a self-registration guide.
Ceres said all students – current, returning and new transfers – may begin registering for summer and fall classes on Thursday, either online or with academic advisors. She noted that new first-time freshmen must attend a New Student Orientation (NSO) session before they will be permitted to register and can sign up for one by visiting the “Student Orientation” page of the PCC website.
Students who register for the summer semester, which begins May 23, must pay for their courses by 5 p.m. on May 15 to prevent their schedules from being purged. The payment deadline for those signing up for fall classes is 5 p.m. on Aug. 10.
