During a typical three-day visit, committee members of the COC examine data and conduct interviews to evaluate the soundness of the QEP. The members also decide whether the institution is in compliance with the Principles of Accreditation. These members will provide written advice to the institution, develop a consensus on its findings, and complete a draft report. The committee also presents an oral summary in an exit report to the chief executive officer and invited institutional officials on the last day of the visit.
PCC's on-site review will occur September 18-20, 2012.
"Sounds like a ways in the distance," said President Massey, "but those who are involved in the many committees working on documenting compliance with accreditation standards know that it is a long and complex endeavor of focusing on our work from many perspectives and then sharing it with a team of our peers from other states."
