Welcome to Disability Services

The staff of Disability Services looks forward to working with you to achieve your immediate academic and long-range career goals. Our office is designed to provide academic, personal and technical support services to students with disabilities who qualify for post secondary education, but whose deficits are such that they are unlikely to succeed in college without those services.

Whenever possible, Pitt Community College will rely on resources available from outside agencies such as Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and private charitable organizations which provide educational auxiliary aids. Referrals are made as needed to other campus-based programs and community agencies. Complete confidentiality is assured to students.

The Disability Services office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The office is located in Room #20 of the Vernon White Building.
